Dr. Mae Jemison In this 45-50 minute program Dr. Mae Jemison shares her personal history and her early desire to explore space. This program includes exciting experiments that inspire and intrigue. It encourages students to consider studies in math and sciences and to use their knowledge to propel them into a world of exploration. The audience will discover the effects space travel has on the human body and what it is really like to travel in space. They will also learn how astronauts attend to their basic needs while in space. Joanna wears an astronaut costume as she takes you on an imaginary voyage in space.
